A Message From Our Founder
Fred B. Cordova III
Founder& CEO, PacQuest Homes
On my dining room table sit a set of 100-year-old silver candlesticks. They were presented to my father by Konrad Adenauer, Chancellor of Germany, in recognition of his role helping rebuild Europe following World War II.
My father was a young immigrant who volunteered to serve his adopted country after Pearl Harbor. After surviving a near-fatal plane crash and illness during the war, he went on to spend seven years helping implement what history would later call the Marshall Plan, one of the most successful rebuilding efforts in modern history.
Those candlesticks serve as a daily reminder that rebuilding is about more than reconstruction. It is about community resilience and the opportunity to restore hope and confidence by helping families move forward and return stronger.
Today, Pacific Palisades faces its own rebuilding challenge. The scale is smaller than post-war Europe, but the principles are remarkably similar. Successful rebuilding requires vision, leadership, capital, coordination, transparency, and a community willing to work together toward a common goal.
PacQuest was founded to bring those elements together. Our team consists of local real estate professionals, investors, developers, builders, and community leaders with deep ties to Pacific Palisades and the Westside. Collectively, our team has participated in the development and construction of more than 50,000 homes and has spent decades creating housing, rebuilding communities, and helping families build wealth.
The PacQuest team believes the rebuilding of Pacific Palisades and Altadena represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create something better than what existed before, more efficient, more coordinated, more resilient, and more valuable for homeowners, investors, and the community.
The “T” in PacQuest stands for Transparency and Trust because we believe successful rebuilding requires both. Whether you are a lot owner considering your options, an investor seeking meaningful participation, or a future homeowner looking to return to the community, our commitment is the same: alignment, accountability, and long-term value creation.
My father’s generation helped rebuild Europe. He spent his life rebuilding communities. PacQuest was created to help rebuild the Pacific Palisades and Altadena together in community.
Together, we can rebuild smarter and return stronger.
